Charlene C. Jaquillard, BSN, RN, LNCC
CHARLENE C. JAQUILLARD, a Registered Nurse, joined our firm's legal team on October 1, 2003. Following seven years as a legal assistant in two local, prominent law firms, Charlene obtained her nursing degree. Charlene has clinical experience in both adult and pediatric populations, having worked in both the pediatric hematology-oncology and adult cardiology specialty area for nearly 10 years. Looking to apply her nursing knowledge to analysis of healthcare issues in a legal setting, Charlene pursued her position with our firm as a Legal Nurse Consultant. Following an extensive, accredited program of study and examination, and rigorous practical training, Charlene enhanced her nursing specialization and credentials by achieving recognition as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant in 2004. Charlene assists our defense team with assessment of medical case files involving injuries to patients from new born to geriatric, including medical records review, deposition and expert preparation and other appropriate tasks. Her familiarity with state regulations such as the Nurse Practice Act, combined with knowledge of standards of care applicable to providers in specialty settings such as Nursing Homes and other long-term care facilities, contribute to Charlene's demonstration of strong medical/legal analytical skills to further enhance the quality of this firm's legal representation of its healthcare and environmental law clients.
